Talk to Me: A Design Thinking Process for Improving the Talk Therapy Service in the Post Pandemic

Project information

People are moving to the new normal, a live regulation that makes our society return to the original scenario with a specific condition. However, since the pandemic has been tackling human life for more than two years, some groups of people are already adapting to the pandemic's new behavior. Stress, anxiety, and lack of trust are coming together with the actual interaction within the new normal. This project proposes an innovative service to build users’ emotions and simulate real interaction as a part of the talk therapy mechanism. We designed an AI-based system that provides more evidence in giving some solutions for those in this particular issue. This study will visualize a systematic prototype together with the evaluation process in the focus group interview and user experience questionnaire (UEQ) analysis. The result of this study will accommodate an improvement of talk therapy service with some features suggested by the participants during the interview and proposing system satisfaction with UEQ. The future works are obtaining the visible technical system embedded with some user’s demand features. This project will also be looking for market testing as advanced early user satisfaction and service efficiency as a part of a development process.
